Leadership: Meet Founder & President
Michael DeVooght is the Founder and President of DEVO Capital Management and DEVO Trading & Consulting (DTC), and a partner in Devlar Energy Marketing, LLC. Since founding DEVO Capital in 1992, Mike has been the driving force behind the firm’s strategic direction, trading philosophy, and integrated approach to financial and physical energy markets.
With more than 30 years of experience in the futures and energy markets, Mike has developed and overseen customized hedging, trading, and risk management strategies for producers, end-users, and market participants across volatile market cycles. He is deeply involved in the design and execution of complex futures and options strategies and serves as the firm’s primary futures and options trading specialist.
Mike is widely recognized for his industry insight and thought leadership. He has been a guest columnist for Denver Post, authored numerous trade journal articles, and has been a featured speaker at energy marketing and hedging seminars nationwide. His experience, market perspective, and disciplined approach continue to shape DEVO Capital’s reputation as a trusted advisor in the energy markets.
